Dr. Andrew’s Appearance on American Health Front
Dr. Andrew represented the Drs. Boyd on October 1st on American Health Front. The WCBS-TV program led into the primetime college football SEC game of the week! He discussed how our doctors transform imperfect teeth with porcelain veneers. These thin, shell-like coverings are made of strong porcelain. Each veneer is bonded to the face of the tooth, where it can mask the appearance of chipped, cracked, discolored, misshapen, or misaligned teeth. Dental veneers can sometimes eliminate the need for braces — and they also serve as permanent teeth whitening. The half-hour American Health Front TV programs are dedicated to educating the public on health care technologies by providing viewers with valuable information on the latest treatments and advancements. Maximize Your Benefits in 2016
Porcelain veneers are just one example of how we’re bettering smiles. Because the Drs. Boyd is a team of highly trained dentists, we offer special expertise in how your smile became damaged in the first place . . . and how to best improve it.
How can you benefit from our superior care? If you have dental insurance and haven’t been to our office for dental care in 2016, you’re losing money. For patients who contribute to a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and don’t use the money, that too gets absorbed at the end of the year. Don’t let your benefits go to waste. Make the most out of your dental insurance. Most dental insurance plans are on a calendar year, meaning your benefits are set to expire soon. If you’ve met your deductible this year but have not yet reached your annual maximum, don’t let your annual coverage go to waste. Find out what treatments you’re eligible for and schedule an appointment to make the most out of your investment in dental care.
All dental insurance plans should completely cover your preventive dental treatments. Have you had two checkups and cleanings with one set of x-rays this year? If so, you may think that’s it for your coverage — but you could still schedule other treatments. Please get in touch with us to discuss your coverage and how to use your flexible spending account (FSA).
Some ways you can take advantage of your benefits include:
- A night guard to protect your tooth enamel from nighttime tooth grinding or jaw clenching
- Fixing broken or worn teeth with a dental crown or tooth colored restorations (filling, bonding, composites).
- Invisalign, clear braces for adults and teens, using your FSA account
Please get in touch with the Drs. Boyd to discuss your benefits for 2016, or how you can plan to save with your FSA for 2017. We want all our patients to truly make the most of their investment — and it’s easy with a little strategic planning. Schedule an appointment today!
