Founded by Norman W. Boyd, D.D.S. in 1930 and joined by his sons, Norman W. Boyd Jr., D.D.S. and Alvin T. Boyd, D.M.D., the practice has thrived as one of the most well-respected in Manhattan. Originally located in the Medical Chambers Building at 140 East 54th Street (now part of the Citicorp Building), the practice moved to 515 Madison Avenue in 1973. Having undergone renovation and modernization over the years, the office now houses 3 hygienists, a staff of 10, and its own state-of-the-art laboratory. Recently Dr. Norman and Dr. Alvin's two oldest sons, Norman W. Boyd, III, D.D.S. and Justin S. Boyd, D.D.S., graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery and joined the practice. As part of a general dentists' office, they provide care for patients of all ages and perform all routine dental procedures with a focus on prosthodontics. For over 70 years and 3 generations, our goal has been to provide patients with the very best dental care possible.
